Alison and Patrick decided to inject and FILL their wedding with all things that were important to them. It's something I try NOT to preach to all of our clients, "stick to your guns, do what YOU want", but I do say repeatedly, but TRY NOT to preach. Alison and Patrick did just that. Patrick and his groomsmen got ready at the couple's place in NoDa while Alison and her bridesmaids got ready at the Westin in Uptown Charlotte. Alison had also opted for all the girls to travel together in a trolley. Since there were multiple locations to the day (The Westin, St. Mary's Chapel, Uptown for photos and then Byron's South End for the reception) I stuck with the girls so I didn't miss a photo opportunity.
From the first look to the last dance everything was perfect. We even had a teeny break in the exhausting summer heat and the day was simply beautiful! There were so many high points...all the times Alison's Dad successfully tried not to cry, all the times Patrick and his best men managed to talk about WVU, the sweet dance moves...I could go on and on, but as always, we hope the photos speak for themselves. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Dunlavey! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for being so wonderful!!!
