Jamie described herself as an old soul to me. Actually she said she was a 100 year old woman trapped inside of her body. Ironically, she is a high school history teacher. Chris is an attentive fiance, now husband. Jamie, busy with school and all of her students turned to her loving fiance after she picked the venue. Most brides would say "NO WAY" but Chris did an awesome job at all of the planning. The day was pretty perfect. They had to battle some horribly brutal heat, one of the other drawbacks to being a teacher (so many of our teacher clients marry in the summer) but they looked amazing, we still have no idea how, as we dripped sweat and wanted to cry. After they married on the front porch of the historic Barrington House they enjoyed a southern style dinner on the back porch before dodging some evening thunderstorms and taking some rest inside the cool air conditioned house for their cake cutting. We could have photographed this gorgeous couple 100 more days but they were done with the heat so eventually we let them leave! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman! May the rest of your days be cooler than your wedding day and so many blessings to your beautiful families. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Barrington House for all their help during all of the rain!
