Kylie & Trevor had a dream, to be together as husband and wife...enjoy a great wedding day filled with love and laughter...maybe sprinkled in with some Disney, a few light sabers, Kylie wanted to feel a bit like a Princess, Trevor was a dapper chap. They were the PERFECT fit for the Biltmore. There were so many highlights to this day. Kylie's biggest and most special request of the day was for us to accomplish a special "Star Wars" photo for Trevor that she could gift to him post wedding. She had the inspiration shot but pulling it off without letting Trevor know what we were doing was a little bit of a challenge. Like most of our grooms, he was just along for the ride. When it came time for the bride and groom's photos in front of the estate house I've only ever seen a crowd gather around behind me like they had done at Christmas time at Disney. I think many of the guests at the Biltmore truly believed that Kylie and Trevor were distant relatives of the Vanderbilts themselves. As I was walking to another location of the property to grab some more shots of the gorgeous couple a guest stopped me just to tell me how stunning Kylie was. I felt like a proud mama and said "well, thanks", as if I had created her.
The day was perfect, a bit windy and oh so bright. I did my best to keep Kylie out of the strongest winds to keep that BEAUTIFUL hair style together. She really was a work of art herself. They were a dream to photograph. Too bad I had to let them get to their ceremony and reception...sigh. A photographers work is never done :) Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Conner...may the fairy tale always reign!
